The Vango Cove II AIR low driveaway awning is suitable for VW transporter type camper vans. The Cove has lots of useful features, such as a pre attached front canopy, a roll away connecting tunnel, simply rolls away, so that you can use your vehicle, two doors in the tunnel so you can access from the front or back, pre angled AIR beams plus lots more.
It’s a simple driveaway awning, which is lightweight and compact, so ideal for couples who would like a bit more space for your long weekend away. The Cove features AirBeams® which create a strong and rigid structure which is quick and easy to pitch. and Vango’s Sentinel Active fabric ensuring a compact pack size leaving you with more room in your campervan for your camping essentials.
If you want to use the awning as an additional bedroom, there is room to clip in a Drive Away Awning Bedroom if you have friends and family join you on your road trip.
Featuring a front-facing layout, the Cove is positioned the same way as your campervan, ensuring you are always facing the view and giving you added privacy from your campsite neighbours.

- TBS®II Tension Band System – Ensures awning performs in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When tensioned, the bands brace the beam or pole at 3 points and prevent sideways movement. Adjust TBS®II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather
- Easy Access Doors – A flat entry access door creates easy access for wheelchairs, prams and people with reduced mobility
- Touring Awning – This awning is designed for touring use; it is not designed for static or long-term seasonal pitching as extensive exposure to UV light will cause accelerated fabric degradation. UV degradation is not covered under the warranty. However, under normal holiday use your awning will give long service
- Fully Wind and Rain Tested – Tested with wind and heavy rainfall to the European standard EN5912

- Drive Away – Using the addition of a Drive Away Kit, detach the tunnel area of your awning from your vehicle and roll it away leaving your awning free-standing as you explore for the day. Keep a note of your parking position for when you return and re-attach the awning to your vehicle
